No. My Chemical Romance did NOT save your life.

While browsing the Internet the other day, I came across multiple fan girls (and several fan boys O_o) who were insisting that My Chemical Romance had saved their life.

A band like MCR can not save your life. They might temporarily prevent you from committing emocide, but after everything they're just a couple of guys, in makeup, singing a song.

Do you know why MCR can't save you? BECAUSE THEIR MUSIC IS SUPPOSED TO BE DEPRESSING.

Now, I like MCR. My blog is named after one of their songs. So I don't want any angry squealing fan girls posting stupid comments on my blog because I "insulted their life."

This is what the youth of America has become. It's slowly turning away from everything we used to stand for and toward everything we were taught to dislike.

When kids start turning to a band that's supposed to be emocidal and claiming it saved their life, we have a problem. When kids bring guns to school because "they just couldn't deal" with their issues, then we have a problem. Kids these days aren't tough enough to handle the world- and it shows.
